F1 NEWS:Helmut Marko suggests Lewis Hamilton Not…read more.

Helmut Marko, the motorsport advisor for Red Bull Racing, has made a bold statement regarding the current status of Lewis Hamilton and his potential future with Ferrari. In a recent interview, Marko claimed that Hamilton has not yet reached the level of Ferrari’s star driver, Charles Leclerc, despite the seven-time world champion’s illustrious career in Formula 1.

Marko’s comments come amid ongoing speculation about Hamilton’s future in the sport and whether he could be a potential addition to Ferrari. The British driver, currently with Mercedes, has been linked to various teams in recent months, but Marko believes that Leclerc, who has been with Ferrari since 2019, remains the superior driver at the Scuderia.

“Lewis is a fantastic driver, no doubt about that, but as of now, he hasn’t shown he’s at the same level as Charles at Ferrari,” Marko remarked. “Leclerc has been more consistent and has adapted better to Ferrari’s needs over the years.”

While Hamilton’s experience and success are undeniable, Marko’s comments highlight the ongoing debate about the best driver on the grid. Leclerc, still in his mid-20s, is seen as one of the future stars of Formula 1, and his performance for Ferrari continues to be a key part of the team’s strategy.

For now, Hamilton remains with Mercedes, but as the 2025 season approaches, all eyes will be on the evolving driver market and potential moves in the upcoming years.
