Racing legend Jackie Stewart has issued a warning to Lewis Hamilton and those questioning Ferrari’s competitiveness ahead of the 2025 Formula 1 season. With Hamilton set to join the Italian team after leaving Mercedes, speculation has risen about whether Ferrari can provide him with a championship-winning car.
Stewart, a three-time world champion, believes critics are underestimating Ferrari’s potential and warns Hamilton that the transition won’t be easy. “Ferrari is a team with immense history and capability, but it takes time to adapt to a new environment,” Stewart said in a recent interview. “Lewis has been with Mercedes for over a decade, and while he’s incredibly talented, success at Ferrari isn’t guaranteed overnight.”
