F1 Today:Hamilton Tunes Out Critics as Ferrari Comfort….Read more

Lewis Hamilton is staying mentally strong and focused amid early struggles in his first season with Ferrari. The seven-time world champion has acknowledged that there are “lots of things” affecting his driving comfort in the SF-25, but he’s not letting the noise from outside or inside the paddock distract him from the bigger picture.

Since joining Ferrari, Hamilton has faced a challenging transition. He has yet to find the level of confidence he once had in his former Mercedes machinery. According to Hamilton, issues such as understeer, inconsistent grip, and difficulties with tire management are making it tough to extract peak performance from the car. Despite this, he remains calm and committed to working closely with his new engineers and teammates to iron out the problems.

Hamilton admitted that the process reminds him of his early days at Mercedes, where he also needed time to understand the car and establish chemistry with the team. He’s drawing from that experience now, recognizing that success with Ferrari will require patience, hard work, and trust in the long-term development plan.

Ferrari, for their part, have continued to back their star signing. The team believes that Hamilton’s feedback is already proving valuable and that performance improvements will come as they better align the car setup to his driving style. Internally, they are not panicking but instead focused on evolving the car to meet his needs.

As the season unfolds, Hamilton is determined to block out criticism and focus on progress. His sights are set on becoming competitive again, and he remains confident that with time and collaboration, Ferrari can unlock the potential needed to fight at the front.
