According to Gary Neville, Arsenal may have a “advantage” over Liverpool and Man City in the Premier League title fight.
Liverpool, under Jurgen Klopp, are presently atop the standings, leading City and Arsenal by two points. Following their 6-0 victory over West Ham on Sunday, the Gunners’ goal differential is at 31, matching that of City, while Liverpool’s is 32.
This indicates that the season is going to be a very close contest for the championship with only a few months remaining. Neville, a former captain of Manchester United, thinks that Arsenal may benefit from being in the hunt.
“It was around this time last season when there was so much pressure on Arsenal because they were so many points clear and everybody was thinking that they were going to win the league,” the former captain of Manchester United said to Sky Sports. They are free to move without the shadow of a doubt. “They have demonstrated the form that put them in that position last season when they could have won the league,” Neville continued. All they have to do is maintain composure, attention, and player fitness. They have a genuine chance if their front players begin scoring regularly, something they haven’t been doing much of this season. They are strong in several areas.
