HE IS NOT UP TO THE TASK John Harbaugh REJECT A MEGA STAR COMMIT…..
What Happens If the Ravens Do Not Select an Offensive Tackle First, in 50 Words or Less?
It’s prime time for mock drafts, especially concerning the Ravens. With the trade of Morgan Moses and Ronnie Stanley’s uncertain status, offensive tackle appears to be the obvious choice. However, with a plethora of tackles likely gone by their pick, alternative scenarios emerge.
If the top tackles are gone, Georgia’s Amarius Mims and Oklahoma’s Tyler Guyton stand out, though both lack experience. Duke’s Graham Barton and Arizona’s Jordan Morgan are also options, though Barton’s ideal position is debated. There’s also consideration for versatile linemen like BYU’s Kingsley Suamataia. If neither Mims nor Guyton are available, the Ravens might consider trading back.
Regarding other positions, the Ravens face a dilemma between cornerback, edge rusher, and wide receiver. Each is crucial, but depth and succession planning are needed. If they don’t select a tackle early, securing one on Day 2 becomes vital, considering the rarity of finding starters beyond the first round and the team’s recent struggles with second-round picks.
