The young player on loan was absent from a crucial victory for the Tigers.

When Hull City returns to the West Midlands on Saturday, they expect to welcome back Tyler Morton, who is on loan from Liverpool.

Morton sustained a thigh injury in the last moments of City’s 2-0 victory against Birmingham, therefore he missed the 1-0 triumph over Preston North End at the MKM Stadium.

In order to prepare Morton for their Saturday afternoon match against West Brom at The Hawthorns, head coach Liam Rosenior and his staff will have a clear week. City is hoping to make history by winning three straight games after narrowly defeating the Lillywhites thanks to a fantastic second-half goal from Jaden Philogene.

It’s wonderful news that he will be fit for West Brom. When he came off, I was genuinely concerned. He had a scan and decided it wasn’t worth putting him at danger, Rosenior said to Hull Live.

“He’s a young player with great potential who we want to develop, and he will definitely be back in my plans for West Brom.”
