Ferrari F1 star REMOVED in driver lineup change

A major lineup change at Ferrari has stirred excitement, as a prominent driver has been removed from the F1 team’s official roster. The big news comes after Lewis Hamilton officially made the switch to Ferrari, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his illustrious career. The seven-time world champion’s move to the iconic Italian team was well-publicized, with both Hamilton and Ferrari sharing the news on social media.

Hamilton, dressed in Ferrari’s signature red race suit, made a memorable appearance on Tuesday, with F1 fans catching a glimpse of the Brit on track. The following day, he had his debut with the SF-23 car at Fiorano, where a large crowd of Ferrari fans, or Tifosi, gathered to witness this milestone moment. It was also revealed that Hamilton would be partnering with Ferrari’s current star, Charles Leclerc, in the 2025 season. Leclerc also took part in the Fiorano track session on Wednesday, further solidifying the duo as the team’s main drivers for the upcoming season.

In addition to his on-track debut, Hamilton will be reunited with his former trainer and close friend, Angela Cullen, who was spotted in Maranello during his first official Ferrari outing. This reunion adds a personal touch to Hamilton’s transition to the team, as Cullen played an important role in his successful Formula 1 career.

While the addition of Hamilton is a significant move for Ferrari, the team also boasts impressive talent within its driver academy, which continues to nurture future F1 stars. The Ferrari Driver Academy is home to several rising stars, including Dino Beganovic, who will step up to Formula 2 in 2025, as well as promising drivers in the F1 Academy, such as Maya Weug and Aurelia Nobels. These drivers are expected to play an essential role in Ferrari’s long-term plans as the team continues to develop new talent.

Ferrari’s commitment to fostering young drivers was showcased in 2024 when Ollie Bearman, a member of the academy, stepped in to replace Carlos Sainz for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Bearman impressed with a solid seventh-place finish, demonstrating the quality of Ferrari’s junior program and the potential for future F1 stars to rise through the ranks.

As the 2025 season approaches, Hamilton’s arrival at Ferrari marks a significant shift in the team’s driver lineup. The combination of Hamilton’s experience and Leclerc’s youthful talent is expected to make Ferrari a formidable force on the grid. With the addition of top-tier young drivers, Ferrari is setting itself up for success both now and in the years to come.
