Hamilton issues EMOTIONAL farewell message in ‘final race’ plea
Lewis Hamilton has shared an emotional message as he prepares for his final race with Mercedes in Formula 1, marking the end of an era.
The seven-time world champion, who secured six of his titles with Mercedes, is set to leave the team after the current season.
Starting in 2025, Hamilton will join Ferrari, partnering with Charles Leclerc, as he embarks on a fresh chapter in his illustrious career.

Since losing the 2021 championship to Max Verstappen in a controversial finale, Hamilton has struggled to match the Dutchman’s dominance.
Over the past few seasons, the 39-year-old has also been outperformed by rising stars such as McLaren’s Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, as well as Ferrari’s drivers, including Carlos Sainz, who Hamilton will replace at the Italian team.
With just three races remaining in the 2024 season, Hamilton’s final appearance for Mercedes will take place at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on December 8.
Reflecting on his journey, Hamilton turned to his fans with a heartfelt plea. On his X account (formerly Twitter), he announced a special initiative to honor his supporters, known as “TeamLH.”
“TeamLH, you’ve always been here,” Hamilton wrote. “Through all the ups and downs, every step of the way.”
To mark the end of his journey with Mercedes and the beginning of his Ferrari chapter, Hamilton revealed a competition that allows fans to have their names featured on his car during his final race at the Yas Marina Circuit.
Fans were encouraged to visit Mercedes’ official website to participate, with entries closing on November 26.
Hamilton expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support he has received throughout his career, emphasizing the significance of carrying the names of his supporters as a symbol of their collective journey.
This farewell race with Mercedes is expected to be an emotional moment, as Hamilton concludes a partnership that has defined much of his career.
