Man Utd reach ‘total agreement’ for third signing with…
Manchester United are on the verge of securing their third signing of the summer with Noussair Mazraoui’s medical and flight already scheduled, according to reports.
Having already signed Leny Yoro from Lille and Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna, United are now focused on bringing in Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.
Despite an initial double offer for both Matthijs de Ligt and Mazraoui being rejected, United decided against pursuing De Ligt due to concerns over his £200k-a-week wage demands.
Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna reports that United have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for Mazraoui, with a transfer fee estimated at €25 million. The move is contingent on the sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is reportedly set to join West Ham United.
West Ham have agreed to United’s terms for Wan-Bissaka, and negotiations with the player are ongoing, with the club’s salary offer likely to persuade him.
Aouna also mentioned that Mazraoui’s medical is booked for Tuesday and that he will be taking a private flight to complete his move to Old Trafford.
The contract will be valid until June, with an option for an additional year. Erik ten Hag aims to have Mazraoui ready for the Community Shield.
