Manchester United have revived negotiations for Bayern Munich’s full-back Noussair Mazraoui after his proposed transfer to…

Mazraoui was close to sealing a £15 million move to West Ham, but talks broke down at the last moment.

West Ham have now shifted their focus to Aaron Wan-Bissaka, giving United the opportunity to reopen discussions with Bayern for Mazraoui.

Manager Erik ten Hag is eager to bolster both full-back positions at United but must first generate funds by selling players. According to an ESPN source, United initially demanded around £20 million for Wan-Bissaka, a price that caused Turkish club Galatasaray to lose interest.

United have since lowered their asking price to approximately £15 million.

Wan-Bissaka, who is currently with the United squad on their preseason tour in the United States, has one year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag is also worried about the left-back position, especially with Tyrell Malacia still recovering from a knee injury. Malacia has not played for over a year and was left out of the squad that traveled to Los Angeles last week, remaining at the Carrington training facility to continue his recovery.

Mazraoui, 26, previously played under Ten Hag at Ajax. The agreement between Bayern and West Ham included £12.6 million upfront with an additional £2.3 million in potential add-ons.
