Red Bull Racing has issued a health update on Yuki Tsunoda following a medical concern that arose during the Miami Grand Prix weekend.
The Japanese driver, who races for Red Bull’s sister team, RB (formerly AlphaTauri), reportedly felt unwell shortly after the conclusion of the race. Concerns were raised when Tsunoda was seen being assisted by medical personnel in the paddock area.
In an official statement, Red Bull confirmed that Tsunoda experienced dehydration and heat exhaustion due to the extreme temperatures and humidity in Miami. “Yuki was treated by medical staff on-site as a precaution. He is now recovering well and is expected to be fully fit ahead of the next race,” the team said.
Tsunoda had a strong performance over the weekend, battling through the midfield and showcasing his usual determination on track. His health scare has prompted discussions about the physical demands placed on drivers in hot-weather circuits.
Fans and fellow drivers expressed their support for Tsunoda on social media, with many wishing him a speedy recovery. The RB team is optimistic he will be back in full strength for the next round of the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship.
