Red Bull star in exciting statement after team switch
Red Bull Racing has unveiled exciting updates regarding their driver lineup for the 2025 season.
The reigning Formula 1 constructors’ champions, despite securing Max Verstappen’s drivers’ title in 2024, struggled in the team standings, finishing third behind McLaren and Ferrari.
Sergio Perez’s future with the team remains uncertain following his retirement from the Abu Dhabi season finale.
At 34, Perez is widely speculated to be replaced, with Red Bull expected to announce updates before the winter break concludes.
Red Bull continues to demonstrate its strength across various racing categories, showcasing an exceptional driver development program.
Their talent pool includes Isack Hadjar, who narrowly missed the 2024 F2 championship, and several promising drivers in the all-female F1 Academy series.
One of the newest additions is 18-year-old Alisha Palmowski, who has been signed to Red Bull’s Academy and will race for Campos Racing in F1 Academy for 2025.
She joins teammates Rafaela Ferreira and Chloe Chambers, solidifying Campos Racing’s lineup for the upcoming season.
Palmowski expressed her excitement, stating:
“The news is finally out! I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be joining the Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Academy Programme, competing in F1 Academy in 2025.
This opportunity means everything to me, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported my journey.”
She highlighted the prestige of joining Oracle Red Bull Racing and acknowledged their history of nurturing exceptional talent.
Palmowski is eager to begin her journey with the team, having already started simulator work and preparations for 2025.
Her ultimate goal is to deliver strong performances and contend for the championship in the upcoming season.
