In an exhilarating finish at Round 4 of the F1 Sim Racing World Championship, rookie Otis Lawrence claimed a stunning victory. The Welsh driver, representing the Aston Martin Aramco F1 Esports Team, began the 25-lap race from the second position, trailing only behind Ismael Fahssi of Williams Esports, who started from pole position. The early stages of the race saw the two competitors exchanging positions multiple times, setting the stage for an intense battle.

As the race progressed and the teams executed their pit stops, Lawrence managed to take the lead, overtaking Fahssi and positioning himself ahead of Jake Benham from the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team and Daniel Bereznay. Both Benham and Bereznay had opted for early tyre changes, which initially seemed to pay off. However, the race took a dramatic turn with just five laps remaining, when Bereznay and Thomas Ronhaar of KICK F1 Sim Racing Team collided, resulting in a chaotic scene that eliminated several contenders from the race.

The collision not only affected Bereznay but also took out other competitors, including Josh Idowu and Joni Tormala from Alpine Sim Racing, as well as Frederik Rasmussen from Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing and Fabrizio Donoso, another driver from Aston Martin. With the field significantly reduced, the focus shifted back to the front of the pack, where Lawrence was battling to maintain his lead against the relentless advances of his rivals.

In the final laps, the tension mounted as Lawrence faced a strong challenge from the experienced driver, Opmeer. Opmeer, who had been steadily making his way up the ranks, managed to overtake Benham and then set his sights on Lawrence. In a nail-biting finish, it looked as though Opmeer would secure the victory. However, in a masterful display of skill, Lawrence executed a daring maneuver around the outside of the final corner on the last lap, enabling him to surge
