Hulkenberg seals stunning Red Bull move as F1 team …read more.

In a stunning turn of events, Red Bull Racing has officially signed Nico Hülkenberg to join their team, marking one of the most unexpected moves of the F1 season. The German driver, who has been with Haas since 2023, will replace Sergio Pérez with immediate effect, just ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix.

Red Bull’s decision comes after growing concerns over Pérez’s performance, with the team seeking a more consistent driver to support Max Verstappen in the championship fight. Hülkenberg, known for his experience and racecraft, has impressed many despite not having a podium finish in his career. His ability to extract performance from midfield cars made him a compelling choice for Red Bull’s high-pressure environment.

With the Japanese GP just days away, Red Bull has also announced key technical changes to their RB20. The team has introduced a revised aerodynamic package aimed at improving straight-line speed and cornering stability, crucial for Suzuka’s demanding layout.

Speaking about his move, Hülkenberg expressed excitement: “Joining Red Bull is a massive opportunity, and I’m ready to give my best. It’s a challenge I’ve been waiting for.”

Team Principal Christian Horner praised Hülkenberg’s adaptability and experience, stating that he brings “valuable insights and a fresh dynamic” to the team.

With this unexpected signing and major car updates, all eyes will be on Red Bull at Suzuka to see how the changes play out in the race.
