Lewis Hamilton once performed a hilarious skit with actor Will Smith where the latter carjacks him. The video was taken back in 2018 after Hamilton clinched his fifth world title.

Back in 2018, Hamilton invited Will Smith to the Abu Dhabi GP. During the race weekend, both decided to put on a hilarious skit where Smith was binding Hamilton to a chair and carjacking him. The video was recorded and posted on Will Smith’s official Facebook account.

The clip starts with the American actor hurriedly taping a struggling Hamilton to a chair. The British driver was screaming for help and questioned his friend. Will Smith turned and explained that driving in an F1 race was a golden opportunity that he did not want to miss. He then stated that since both of them were black, no one in the paddock or race would notice. Meanwhile, Hamilton acted as if he was dejected.

Don’t worry about it, its all good! Lewis listen, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me, nman. I know I feel good you invited me! You black, I’m black, ain’t nobody gonna know the difference! I’m sorry, I gotta do it!” Smith explained.

While Will Smith was wearing Hamilton’s helmet, the Mercedes driver shouted that he should win the race to retain his dominance

“You better win!” Lewis screamed.

The video continued with Smith entering the Mercedes W09 and talking to team engineers. Following this, the video cut to Lewis Hamilton’s donuts at the end of the Abu Dhabi race, but the narrative continued that it was in fact, Will Smith. The last shot was of Smith being held by security and escorted out of the Mercedes garage.

This skit received quite a lot of reaction from the fans back then and continued to garner views to date.

Will Smith recently shared a hilariously edited clip on his official Instagram account, addressing Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari in 2025.

The clip was from Bad Boys 2 film, where Will Smith drove a Ferrari on the highway. Various shots in that scene showed Smith’s smiling face in the film. However, Smith hilariously edited Lewis Hamilton’s face on his own. He captioned the video that this was how Hamilton would arrive in the 2025 F1 season with a Ferrari.

“Hahaha @lewishamilton pulling up for the 2025 season 😂,” Smith wrote.

Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari was announced before the 2024 F1 season began. The British driver recently ended his last season with Mercedes and bid a long and emotional farewell to the team.
