Justin Fields refused Bears trade but is entittle to……..
Former Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields joined the Pittsburgh Steelers, and after realizing he was no longer part of Chicago’s plans, Fields decided to move there.
Fields played for the Bears for three seasons, always showcasing his athletic prowess. But Fields was neither a reliable passer nor a particularly excellent decision-maker, and general manager Ryan Poles concluded that Fields was not the team’s quarterback of the future.
Caleb Williams of USC appears to be a lock to be selected by the Bears with the first overall pick. After the Bears make that decision, Fields will be more or less forgotten inside the team.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, several clubs were reportedly interested in Fields before he was traded to the Steelers.Fields was solely interested in being moved to the Steelers; he was not interested in joining any of other teams.
While there are currently no official reports regarding the teams who specifically inquired about Fields, a number of them are not happy with their quarterback situations. The New England Patriots, New York Giants, and Las Vegas Raiders are a few of those teams. And the Eagles acquired Kenny Pickett just after the Steelers signed Russell Wilson, suggesting that Philadelphia had interest in Fields before that trade.
