On Monday, March 18, 2024, players and management from Kilmarnock Football Club joined sponsors on the Trump Turnberry golf course for their yearly golf day.

During the international break, guests were treated to an amazing day on the Scottish shore, which made for the ideal setting for a team-building day in the sun.

The players and coaching staff were matched with sponsors after being welcomed and inducted into the clubhouse. They then captained the groups that competed over 18 holes in a Texas Scramble matchplay event.

The players enjoyed a two-course dinner after finishing on the immaculate greens, and then Club Ambassador Ray Montgomerie revealed the winners of the prestigious awards.

As his team from Martin and White Ltd won the championship, Ian Durrant rocketed to the top of the scoreboard. In addition to Durrant winning the Colin Campbell Trophy, which is given to the victorious Kilmarnock FC representative, their captain, Dougie Watson, was voted “Golfer of the Day.”

In the Champions Suite at Trump Turnberry, several other honors were given out, such as:

The 18th-longest drive belonged to Rory McKenzie.
On the sixth, Kevin Ottley (William Duncan) was closest to the pin.
Inspirited (with Stuart MacFarlane) came in third.
Budget Blinds (together with Innes Cameron) came in second.
Martin and White Ltd. took first prize (with Ian Durrant)

“Hosting our dedicated community of partners at the annual golf day is always a pleasure, and this year’s event will certainly live long in the memory of players and sponsors alike,” Club Ambassador Ray Montgomerie said during his speech at Trump Turnberry.”We would like to express our gratitude to Ricky Hall and his team at Trump Turnberry for their outstanding hospitality throughout a day that will never be forgotten. We also appreciate Colin and Ian, and we look forward to the possibility of collaborating closely with them once more in the near future.”
