LATEST: Why Zach LaVine may be the next on Bulls’ exit door…..
Chicago is actively considering rearranging its team and is exploring ways to improve their draft position, sources revealed. They are also in discussions with other teams regarding potential trades involving Zach LaVine. League sources have indicated that the Bulls have been attempting to relocate LaVine since last offseason, but they have not made significant progress on deals, except for discussions involving Bojan Bogdanović with Detroit, who has since been traded to New York. The Pistons are now led by new president Trajan Langdon.
Sources suggest that if Chicago is committed to retaining Patrick Williams and veteran scorer DeMar DeRozan, there is little room left for major changes to the roster beyond potentially trading LaVine.
According to sources, LaVine is not a top priority for the Philadelphia 76ers and is viewed more as a secondary option given the team’s substantial salary cap flexibility. At this point, the Sacramento Kings appear to be the most likely destination for LaVine. Sacramento is actively exploring trade opportunities involving Harrison Barnes and Kevin Huerter, with significant external interest in Huerter reported by Yahoo Sports. Additionally, the Kings are evaluating potential trades for their 13th overall pick in the upcoming draft. Combo guard Malik Monk, a strong contender for Sixth Man of the Year, has agreed to remain with Sacramento alongside his close friend and All-Star point guard De’Aaron Fox.
