According to reports, Leeds United would seek £30 million in exchange for Everton loan player Jack Harrison’s permanent transfer.

According to TeamTalk, Everton is interested in buying him permanently following his season-long loan, but a deal will only be completed if they can afford Leeds’ high asking price.

Harrison is reportedly content at Goodison Park, and Everton management wants to keep him there for longer than just his first loan period.

No option-to-buy was ever agreed upon by the two clubs over a deal for Harrison during Everton’s financial difficulty in the summer, which puts Leeds in a good position, especially if they get promoted.

Harrison only signed a new five-year contract at Elland Road in April, but a sale would be possible if Leeds couldn’t guarantee their return to the Premier League.

Leeds had asked £30 million for Harrison.
It wouldn’t be shocking if other teams approached Leeds, even if Everton couldn’t afford their £30 million asking price, given the 26-year-old is rumored to have no desire to play Championship football once more.

Everton will have to battle for their spot in the Premier League next season, but given their current winning streak and the state of the lowest teams, it seems probable that they will.

If 777 Partners gets taken over in the next few weeks, it may help them in their chase of Harrison because TeamTalk indicates they are eager to demonstrate some market ambition.

Should Leeds get promoted in May, it would provide an intriguing scenario involving players such as Harrison, given that options-to-buy were not included in any of the loan agreements.

In contrast to the other players, Harrison, who is deemed “terrific,” has bank credit for his accomplishments at Leeds; yet, a permanent sale may be more advantageous for everybody involved.
