Lewis Hamilton’s first Formula One season with new Ferrari has been simulated and the results are… read more

In a recent simulation of Lewis Hamilton’s first season with Ferrari, the results have taken the F1 world by surprise. After photos and footage of his initial test sessions with Ferrari surfaced last week, fans have been eager to see how the seven-time World Champion would fare in his new team. Hamilton’s decision to leave Mercedes and join Ferrari had already shocked many, and now the results from the F1 24 game simulation have left fans and pundits alike stunned.

Despite the excitement surrounding his switch, Hamilton’s simulated season doesn’t live up to the high expectations many had. According to the simulation, Hamilton’s performance in his first year with Ferrari falls short of challenging for the title, as F1 commentator Martin Brundle predicted. Brundle had stated that he believed Hamilton’s best years were behind him, and based on the simulated results, this may indeed be the case.

In the simulated 2025 season, Hamilton finishes a distant 10th in the Drivers’ Championship standings. Max Verstappen, the reigning four-time World Champion, takes the title again with an impressive 501 points, 64 more than his previous season tally. Hamilton, on the other hand, earns just 170 points, managing only one race victory at the Canadian Grand Prix, where he defeated Verstappen. Throughout the season, Hamilton claims only three additional podium finishes: third place in Melbourne, Las Vegas, and Abu Dhabi.

Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc performs much better, finishing 155 points ahead of Hamilton with a total of 325 points, while still being far off Verstappen’s dominance. The simulation paints a picture of a difficult season for Hamilton, especially in the early stages. His first race of the season ends in a DNF (Did Not Finish), which sets a negative tone for the year ahead. However, the lowest point in his simulated season comes at Silverstone, his home Grand Prix, where despite winning the race the previous year, Hamilton finishes 10th, outside the points, while fellow Brit Lando Norris takes the win.

Hamilton’s difficult season highlights the challenges he faces in adapting to Ferrari’s car, which is predicted to struggle in comparison to the dominating Red Bull. While he may still have the skill to secure a few podiums, the simulation suggests that Hamilton’s quest for an eighth World Championship might not come to fruition with Ferrari in the near future.

Overall, the simulated season paints a less-than-promising picture for Hamilton’s future at Ferrari, with Verstappen continuing to reign supreme. Fans will have to wait until the real 2025 season to see if these predictions hold any truth, but for now, the results certainly raise questions about Hamilton’s ability to challenge for the championship in his new team.
