Rumor has it that Liverpool is assembling a £40 million bid to try and wrest Archie Gray from Elland Road.

Only a few days after turning 17 in March, Gray signed his first professional contract. This took precedence over his scholarship agreement, which had just been in effect for six months prior. Leeds was limited in how long the deal could be because of his age, thus they only signed him for 2.5 years. Before Leeds can extend his contract, they must wait until he is eighteen.

Numerous elite teams, such as Manchester City, Newcastle United, and Everton, are keeping an eye on his development. Money talks; not too long ago, we said that Kalvin Phillips had no plans to move off Elland Road, and now look at what transpired there.

Is £40 million too much to refuse, or should Leeds cling onto him? Given that Phillips received £42 million and Raphinha £55 million, maybe £40 million isn’t a bad deal!

After 16 months at Thorp Arch, Michael Skubala has been named the new Head Coach at League One team Lincoln City. After replacing Mark Jackson as U21/23 head coach at Leeds last July, the former National Futsal Head Coach joined the team. He managed the first team for a little while after Jesse Marsch was fired, although he was never a strong candidate for the ER bench.
