A planned move to Saudi Arabia has made Mohamed Salah ‘increasingly likely to abandon Liverpool’ for the upcoming season.

Having signed players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Neymar, the leaders of the Saudi Pro League are now aiming to sign more elite athletes.

Among the players Saudi Arabia is interested in next year are Salah and Kevin De Bruyne, another star in the Premier League.

Liverpool has already begun looking for a replacement as they prepare to spend £55 million on a player.

Football Insider claims that behind-the-scenes efforts are being made by Saudi Arabian officials to recruit BOTH Salah and De Bruyne.

Salah is ‘anticipated to go through’ next year, according to a source, who claims he will be moving from Liverpool to Saudi Arabia.

Chiefs in Saudi Arabia hold great admiration for the 31-year-old, and Al Ittihad made an attempt to entice him to the Middle East during the summer transfer window.

Though Liverpool rejected Al Ittihad’s attempts, they were unable to sign the Egyptian winger.

The Reds reportedly rejected a deal of £150 million in order to keep their top player.

Salah is paid £350,000 per week at Liverpool and has a contract that expires in June 2025.

This season, the star attacker has scored an incredible 10 goals in 13 games in all competitions, proving that Jurgen Klopp was right to deny his sale.

After a terrible stint at Chelsea, Salah returned to the top division of English football and has been at Anfield since 2017.

In 318 appearances, he has scored an amazing 196 goals throughout his productive tenure with the club.

Next summer, will he end his career at Liverpool? Observe this area.
