Liverpool vs. Bournemouth, Darwin Nunez can’t stop giggling.

Liverpool’s game-winning goal Darwin Nunez was reduced to tears at witnessing Alexis Mac Allister’s response to his incredible goal from the previous evening.

Nunez made the difference for Liverpool on Wednesday, as he has done a lot of late. His spectacular goal in the 70th minute sent the Reds into the Carabao Cup quarterfinals. The 24-year-old, who had just been on the field for ten minutes, scored an incredible goal.

Mac Allister also came in at the same time and shared his thoughts on Nunez’s goal on his Instagram stories following the game.

“My expression speaks for itself,” the Argentine wrote in Spanish. A photo of Mac Allister congratulating Nunez immediately after the goal, his cheeks puffed in shock, was posted with the caption.

In his own native tongue, the Uruguayan responded, “Hahaha,” on his Instagram stories. “It’s the mates you make friends with, in my opinion.”

It’s wonderful to see these two getting along so well, even though we’re not really sure what that actually means.

Mac Allister expresses affection
Mac Allister is obviously very happy at Liverpool, having settled in nicely since joining the team in the summer.

The World Cup champion is kind and modest, and he appears to be close with every member of the Reds team.

But Mac Allister seems especially connected to his fellow South Americans.

At times, it looked as though he and Luis Diaz were inseparable, and Nunez was also very much the third of the amigos.

Alisson Becker, the only South American in the squad, appears to be a little older and more isolated from that group. The goalie still misses his old school Brazilian core, which included Roberto Firmino and Fabinho.

However, Mac Allister clearly benefits from the company of boys his own age and from comparable backgrounds.

Although their partnership hasn’t really taken off on the field, the Argentina international did manage to set up a wonderful assist for Nunez against West Ham. A few more connections will undoubtedly emerge as their friendship grows.

For the time being, though, we’re going to revisit and repeatedly view this Darwin aim.
