Miami Misery: Hamilton and Leclerc Express Frustration Over…Read more

Ferrari drivers Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc have openly expressed their disappointment with the team’s performance at the Miami Grand Prix, as both struggled to extract pace from their cars throughout the weekend.

The race marked another challenging outing for the Scuderia, with neither driver able to fight at the front. Hamilton, who is still adapting to the Ferrari setup after his high-profile move from Mercedes, admitted that he felt “disconnected” from the car and struggled with grip throughout the event.

“The balance just wasn’t there,” Hamilton said post-race. “We made some changes after qualifying, but they didn’t give us what we needed. It’s frustrating because we know the potential is there — we’re just not unlocking it.”

Charles Leclerc echoed his teammate’s sentiments, stating that the SF-25 is still too unpredictable in certain conditions.

“We’re pushing hard, but the car still feels inconsistent, especially in the slower corners,” Leclerc explained. “We can’t fight the top teams like this, and that’s hard to accept when we’ve put in so much effort.”

Despite some optimism following Ferrari’s earlier performances this season, Miami served as a wake-up call. Red Bull and McLaren continued to dominate, while Ferrari struggled to maintain race pace.

Team principal Frédéric Vasseur acknowledged the issues and promised upgrades in upcoming races to help both drivers get back in the fight.

Ferrari will now turn their attention to the next race in Imola, hoping for a home boost and much-needed improvements.
