New Zealand Warriors owner Mark Robinson has confirmed that Nathan Brown will finish the season with the club as head coach.

While Brown’s immediate future with the club is set in stone, an end of season review will determine whether he’ll stay on with the Warriors in 2023.

“We’re not looking at any coaching changes until the end of season and after the reviews,” Robinson told stuff.co.nz.

“We’re happy with our coach and no decision is going to be made until the end of the year, when the season is over and we have a debrief.”

The Warriors owner isn’t one to shy away from making big decisions, previously sacking Stephen Kearney halfway through the 2020 season.

“I think that’s fair on everyone and let’s see,” Robinson said.

“If the team is improving and with the new players coming – and some of them might only be coming because Browny is coaching them – we’ve got some pretty good people coming over.

“Some of the young fellas are starting to show a bit of promise and our salary cap is in good order, there’s no issues there over what happened with Matt (Lodge), and we’re all good to go.
