NFL Power Rankings: 49ers’ position following their victory over the Cardinals.
The NFL season’s fifteenth week saw many of the anticipated turns along with a few surprising ones.
You might wonder which category the Bears’ surrendering of a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter fits into. the earlier.
Thus far this season, the Bears have blown three double-digit fourth-quarter leads. The Bears became only the fourth team since 2013 to record three interceptions and four sacks and lose during their 20-17 setback in Cleveland on Sunday. The prior 101 teams had a record of 97-3-1.
The Bears of 2023 are this group.
In other news, the Buffalo Bills destroyed the Dallas Cowboys in Buffalo, while the 49ers destroyed the Arizona Cardinals to get within one game of winning the NFC West.
Surprisingly, Baker Mayfield destroyed the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on his way to a perfect passer rating, but the Bengals refuse to give up on Jake Browning. However, Cincinnati’s incredible postseason run may be coming to an end.
After Sunday’s Week 15 action, these are each team’s current positions:
- Carolina Panthers (2-12): On Sunday, the Panthers achieved their second victory of the year. The NFL’s mediocrity might be sufficient to bring them to three, at which point the Patriots might intervene and wrest the first pick away from the Bears.
- New England Patriots (3-11): To watch Bailey Zappe take against Patrick Mahomes, Taylor Swift and Bon Jovi were present in Foxboro. Instead of holding a concert, they ought to have forced the Patriots to forfeit.
Arizona Cardinals (3-11): The Cardinals demonstrated once more why they are the ideal NFL “tank” club. After a half, Arizona was competitive enough to stay with the 49ers, but the Niners gradually pulled away due to their roster deficiencies. In the desert, there is a lot of labor to be done.
Washington Commanders (4–11): A month ago, Sam Howell seemed like the way of the future. He was replaced on Sunday by Jacoby Brissett. The Commanders need another big-play receiver to assist the next coach get a rebuild off the ground since Eric Bieniemy’s system has been a disaster and the line is incapable of providing protection. I’m not sure Virginia will accept them, but there’s no word yet on whether the Commanders can relocate to Alexandria with the Wizards and Capitals.
- Tennessee Titans (5-9): After falling to Case Keenum on Sunday, the Titans were declared out of the playoff race. Will Levis is, at least, their franchise quarterback. What an odd sentence to put on paper.
- Los Angeles Chargers (5-9): A lopsided defeat to a Raiders squad that had been shut out the week prior marked the end of the Brandon Staley era. Do people still believe that the Chargers’ success wasn’t just due to Justin Herbert?
- New York Jets (5-9): This week, while practicing with the scout team, Aaron Rodgers produced a beautiful leaping interception. The Jets were destroyed 30-0 by the Dolphins to be officially ruled out of the playoffs, so that will likely be the only action he sees this season.
- New York Giants (5-9): In New Orleans on Sunday, Tommy DeVito’s Italian Cinderella tale came crashing down. That’s hardly surprising, as NOLA has put an end to many more extravagant rumors than Giants supporters had about DeVito saving the team.
