Now that another offseason has passed, Spring Training is almost here. As each club gets ready for Opening Day, a ton of baseball tales begin to unfold with the start of camps in Arizona and Florida.
As Spring Training commences this week, here is a glimpse at a pivotal narrative for every team:
During consecutive seasons, the Blue Jays’ starting pitching depth has been dangerously close to becoming an actual issue. This team still needs Manoah to report to camp and reclaim his spot in the rotation following a terrible 2023 season that saw him optioned to Triple-A twice, even with the depth that has been added. Though it was a shocking collapse for the workhorse who just a year before placed third in the AL Cy Young Award voting, Manoah might be able to reframe this story as inspiration.
