Physician problems. Jhon Duran’s status report
Dr Brar said that if Jhon Duran’s hamstring injury is closer to the tendon, he may have a longer recovery period for Aston Villa.
The 20-year-old Colombian international, according to the injury expert, could miss several weeks of action due to what looks to be a Grade 2 injury. According to reports, this could keep him out of action until April, meaning he won’t play in most of the games until the end of the season.
Physical therapist and sports scientist Dr. Brar spoke on the matter, telling Villa News that Duran is expected to miss several weeks due to a hamstring injury, which is thought to be a Grade 2 out of 4 injury.
The ideal scenario would involve an injury far from the tendon, whereas the worst scenario would have an injury closer to the tendon, which would require more time to heal.
“At this point, both scenarios are plausible, and it is unclear how he will react to treatment.” Duran relocated to Villa Park during the January 2023 window, although his influence was not as immediate as he had hoped.
Due to his lack of playing time and fitness concerns, he fell behind Ollie Watkins in the standings, which has hurt his chances of being well-known among Villa supporters.
Despite making 14 Premier League appearances this season, he did not play from the opening whistle. Despite scoring two goals, he hasn’t done much to convince Unai Emery that he should play more minutes.
