PREMIER LEAGUE PROMOTION IPSWICH TOWN unveils three top players to help them….
Ipswich Town have enjoyed a fantastic season and could yet win a second consecutive promotion to complete a remarkable rise from League One.
Ipswich Town are 3rd in the Championship table as it stands, a point behind both Leeds United and Leicester City. The Foxes have a game in hand but their once tight grip on the top two is a distant memory.
The Tractor Boys have become a fantastic team under Kieran McKenna and they could complete a stunning rise to the Premier League before the end of the campaign. If they do, they’ll have plenty of key players to thank.
However, there are some Ipswich Town players capable of rising to the Premier League in the future regardless of how the promotion fight ends. Here, we put forward three…
Leif Davis
Since becoming a star player in League One, Davis has managed the step up to the Championship with aplomb. A stunning return of a goal and 17 assists from left-back has made him a shoe-in for the team of the season.
The 24-year-old has had Premier League interest in his services. If Ipswich Town aren’t to rise to the top-flight, Davis could feasibly move up as early as the summer.
Omari Hutchinson
Of course, Hutchinson is on the books at Chelsea. He has only one Premier League appearance to his name but if there were any doubts about his talents before, he’s put them to bed this season.
Eight goals and six assists in 42 games across his first campaign of regular first-team football have proven the Jamaican international as an elite prospect and after this campaign, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him become a top-flight regular as early as next year.
Ali Al-Hamadi
Last but not least is a player who has been on a remarkable rise of his own. Al-Hamadi was released by Swansea City and Wycombe Wanderers sold him to AFC Wimbledon in January 2023 amid a lack of senior chances.
The 22-year-old Iraqi international managed 27 goals and eight assists in 48 games for the League Two side and a big jump up to the Championship has yielded four goals and an assist in nine outings.
Al-Hamadi has the physical attributes to be a danger at any level and as the technical side of his game develops, he could definitely become a Premier League striker in the years to come.
