QPR IN A DEAL FOR A WORLD CLASS STRICKER THAT COST…….

Birmingham City, who is vying with QPR for relegation, is ‘in talks’ to name former Millwall manager Gary Rowett as their temporary head coach through the end of the campaign. The meeting is scheduled to occur prior to the massive six-point game at Loftus Road on Friday.

Rowett will be the fourth manager of the Blues’ first squad this season, according to The Daily Mail. He takes after Tony Mowbray, Wayne Rooney, John Eustace, and Mark Venus, the caretaker.

Mowbray had surgery this month after being forced to resign from the position earlier this year due to health concerns. After recovering, the veteran is expected to return to the role, with Rowett joining on a temporary basis.

Birmingham City, who are now tied for 21st place in the second division with Huddersfield Town in 22nd place and the relegation zone, is facing a daunting task in the Championship. In 20th place, the Midlands team trails Marti Cifuentes’ team by just one point.

On Friday, March 29, QPR will host Birmingham City at Loftus Road in what might be a pivotal match for both teams in the regular season. On April 6, QPR will meet Sheffield Wednesday in another crucial relegation match.

Birmingham City has had a terrible run of play since Mowbray was compelled to leave his job in February. They have lost five games and drawn one. The team, who had shown improvement under former Sunderland manager Mowbray, has found it difficult to accept.

In an explanation of his circumstances on February 19, Mowbray stated: “I have got a medical diagnosis that necessitates treatment subsequent to my recent LMA Health Assessment. I shal have to temporarily resign from my position as manager of Birmingham City Football Club in order to receive treatment. My assistant manager, Mark Venus, will lead the team in the interim until I return, with assistance from coaches Ashley Cole, Pete Shuttleworth, and Maik Taylor. While receiving therapy, I will still offer guidance and recommendations.

My family and I are really appreciative of the Club’s tremendous support. I’m confident that at this point, everyone will respect our privacy.
