In a surprising development within the Formula 1 paddock, a prominent Red Bull driver is reportedly at risk of losing his seat, as speculation swirls around potential changes within the team’s lineup. The pressure has intensified following a string of underwhelming performances, prompting F1 legend Sebastian Vettel to weigh in with some timely advice.
While Red Bull continues to dominate the Constructors’ Championship thanks to Max Verstappen’s stellar form, the second seat remains under scrutiny. Sergio Pérez, the current holder of that position, has struggled to match Verstappen’s consistency, sparking rumours that the team could be considering a shake-up.
Several insiders have tipped Pérez for a possible demotion to sister team Visa Cash App RB or even an exit from the Red Bull setup entirely. This comes amid rising performances from reserve and junior drivers waiting in the wings, including Liam Lawson and Yuki Tsunoda.
