Three Italian clubs—Genoa, …. and…—are showing interest in Leeds United’s…

According to Inter Live (via Sport Witness), Gnonto has been frequently linked with a move away from Leeds, and his future is now uncertain after the club’s play-off final loss to Southampton.

Last summer, Gnonto was involved in a transfer saga, making himself unavailable for games after being told he couldn’t leave Leeds.

He resolved the issue with manager Daniel Farke but later sustained an injury in September against Hull City, sidelining him for a month. Despite these setbacks, Gnonto made significant contributions during the 2023/24 season, helping Leeds to a third-place finish.

With several players like Charlie Cresswell, Archie Gray, Glen Kamara, Diego Llorente, and Marc Roca already sold, Leeds might have the financial flexibility to keep Gnonto.

However, West Ham is close to signing Crysencio Summerville, and Gnonto could be the next to leave.

Inter Live suggests Gnonto might not want to stay in the Championship and could leave on a loan-to-buy deal.

Leeds, though, are in a strong negotiating position as his contract runs until 2027.

It’s uncertain if Genoa, Parma, or Venezia can afford him, given Parma and Venezia’s recent promotion from Serie B and Genoa’s midtable finish in Serie A last season.

If Summerville departs, retaining other key attackers like Gnonto is crucial for Leeds’ promotion hopes.

While selling Gnonto might be considered if he pushes for a move, keeping him for another season could increase his value for a future transfer.
