Lewis Hamilton Drops Bold  Claim as Ferrari Star Retires at Canadian GP due to…read more

The Canadian Grand Prix delivered a rollercoaster of drama both on and off the track, as Lewis Hamilton made headlines not only for his on-track performance but also for a bold statement regarding his upcoming Formula 1 movie. Meanwhile, Ferrari endured a difficult weekend, with one of their top drivers forced to retire from the race.

Ahead of the Montreal showdown, Hamilton took the opportunity to promote the highly anticipated Formula 1 film he’s co-producing, which stars Brad Pitt and features real-life F1 settings and drivers. Speaking confidently about the project, Hamilton didn’t hold back in expressing his high hopes for the film. “It’s going to be the best racing movie ever made,” Hamilton claimed, adding that the team has worked tirelessly to ensure authenticity and excitement. “We’re using actual race weekends, real F1 cars, and real people—it’s going to blow fans away.”

The film, yet untitled, is being developed by Apple Studios and directed by Joseph Kosinski, best known for Top Gun: Maverick. It has already been filming scenes at live Grand Prix events, including Silverstone and now Montreal, blending cinematic storytelling with real racing action. Hamilton, who serves as a producer, is deeply involved in the creative process, especially in maintaining the technical accuracy of the racing scenes.

As for the on-track action at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, it was a tough day for Ferrari. Charles Leclerc was forced to retire midway through the race due to engine issues that saw him significantly down on power early on. The Monégasque driver attempted to stay in the running despite the apparent mechanical difficulties, but Ferrari ultimately decided to bring him in and retire the car, preventing further damage and ensuring driver safety.

Teammate Carlos Sainz also struggled, caught up in a collision that eliminated any hope of a top finish for Ferrari. The team’s disappointing weekend adds pressure as they aim to stay in the championship fight against Red Bull and Mercedes.

Meanwhile, Hamilton showed signs of resurgence, finishing strong and engaging in several impressive overtakes throughout the race. While he missed out on the podium, his pace and consistency suggested that Mercedes may finally be turning a corner with their car development.

Off the track, Hamilton’s Hollywood aspirations seem to be gathering pace just as quickly. With a star-studded cast, a blockbuster director, and Hamilton’s racing expertise behind it, the F1 film could be a landmark moment for motorsport in mainstream media. For now, fans will be eagerly awaiting both his next move in the championship—and on the s

ilver screen.
