The Kansas City Chiefs sign a running back
According to a statement by the Chiefs, the team signed running back La’Mical Perine to the 53-man roster. He had been on the practice squad since August. The Chiefs activated nose tackle Mike Pennel and wide receiver Montrell Washington.
After spending time with the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles, Perine was selected by the New York Jets in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. During his NFL career, Perine has accumulated 264 yards on 73 runs for two touchdowns.
