SKY SPORTS pundit drops hit on new wednesday manager and how he is to…….

One thing that could have kept Sheffield Wednesday out of the relegation fight this year has been revealed to the team.

Ten months after winning promotion to the Championship in spectacular manner, Sheffield Wednesday has had a difficult year.

The Owls appeared poised for another attempt to right the ship in the second division, but events at Hillsborough took a sharp turn when the team disclosed that manager Darren Moore had left the team by mutual consent in June after Dejphon Chansiri and the club were unable to reach an agreement on a new contract.

Following the 49-year-old’s departure, Sheffield Wednesday was led by Xisco Munoz to eight losses in his first ten games.

The club has improved since Danny Rohl joined, even if they are still one point from safety at the bottom of the table. They are currently in a far better position than they were before Munoz left.

Journalist Joe Crann of The Star stated that despite the German’s triumph, he is “certain” the side wouldn’t be in the relegation zone under Moore.

“Why are people so happy that Darren Moore is struggling?” a fan inquired of Crann… On X, Crann wrote: “Some people also seem to think that building on a squad that you built and that had momentum is the same as taking over already struggling sides with a squad built by somebody else.” If #SWFC hadn’t fallen to the bottom three, I’m very sure. Yet we’ll never find out.

Would Danny Rohl perform worse than Darren Moore?
Although Sheffield Wednesday’s manager, Darren Moore, had taken his fair share of flak for the team’s efforts to escape League One, the incredible promotion would have given them a lot of energy and optimism going into the current season.

The Owls might not have succeeded without the Port Vale coach, but he would have had a strong opportunity to maintain the team if he had had a full preseason, a full transfer window, and a good rapport with the players.

That’s not to argue he would have performed any better than Rohl, as we all know the team could have been considerably higher in the standings right now if the 34-year-old had been given the keys in the summer. If the season had started when he was hired, the Owls would actually be ranked 13th in the Championship standings.

But whether they like it or not, Sheffield Wednesday is where they are right now, and neither Moore’s nor Rohl’s early arrival is real.

But one thing is certain—the animosity directed against Moore now is absurd. Since he left us with Rohl and did not commit any wrongdoing at Hillsborough, if he can keep us going this term, then we could well be in a much better position.
