Susie Wolff filed a lawsuit against the F.I.A.

She released the following statement: “I can disclose that, in regard to the claims the FIA made about me last December, I myself filed a criminal complaint in the French courts on March 4th.

“Transparency and responsibility regarding the actions of the FIA and its employees in this case remain lacking.

“I think it’s more crucial than ever to speak up, condemn bad behavior, and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.

“Whilst some may think silence absolves them from responsibility – it does not.”

The FIA’s investigation into a possible conflict of interest involving Wolff and her husband, Toto Wolff, is mentioned in her criminal complaint.

They refuted unverified rumors that rival F1 team managers had voiced concerns about them sharing confidential information.

However, team principals from all other Formula One teams subsequently refuted any grievances.

Two days after their original announcement that they were conducting an investigation, the FIA subsequently asserted that the case was closed.

At the time, Susie Wolff posted the following on social media: “I have worked too hard to have my reputation called into question by an unfounded press release. I might have been collateral damage in an unsuccessful attack on somebody else, or the target of a failed attempt to discredit me personally.”

The F1 Academy’s managing director is Susie Wolff.
