Tomorrow night’s Champions League matchup between Newcastle United and PSG is scheduled to feature club captain Jamaal Lascelles starting at the front.

Despite just having two starts to his name, the 29-year-old has played three times this season.

Goncalo Ramos, Randal Kolo Muani, and of course Kylian Mbappe are among the players he will have to stop tomorrow.

Jamaal Lascelles is set to return from the cold, given he did start last week’s Carabao Cup match against Man City, according to Downie, who was covering Newcastle’s most recent practice session.

Despite having played so little football over the past year or so, he is leading the group out. Sven Botman won’t be playing tomorrow night, so he will take over as captain.
