Max Verstappen has disclosed the extreme measures he would take in the event thatll ev Red Buer treated him in the same manner as Williams did with Logan Sargeant. During practice, Alex Albon had a car crash so horrible that it was irreparable for Sunday’s race.

Williams made the terrible choice to hand his teammate Sargeant’s car, which means that the American is no longer able to finish due to circumstances beyond his control. Albon was chosen due of his far greater likelihood of scoring points.

Asking Verstappen about the nasty call, he did not back down. “I understand it from the performance aspect, of course, but that doesn’t change the fact that this obviously sucks for Logan,” Verstappen told the Dutch press.

Naturally, I’m not in that situation, but if I were, I would have already boarded the plane back home. No one could drive, therefore if that happened to me, I would also totally flatten mine.”

In an attempt to keep his perfect season going, Verstappen took pole position in the Australian Grand Prix. In an effort to temper expectations, the 26-year-old has stated that Carlos Sainz, who will likewise begin in the front row, poses a real threat.

“That’s still not a given that tomorrow is going to be good because it seems like Ferrari are very strong over one lap but also in the long run it seems that they can keep their tyres alive

“Over time, they also appear to be quite rapid. So tomorrow is a little bit of a mystery, but I suppose it adds to the excitement.

“I think you have to be 100 percent these days to beat Max, and I wasn’t today,” Sainz continued. I probably missed out on pole as a result of that.
