USC, Ohio State Schedule Official Visits with Five-Star Safety Jett Washington

The recruitment battle for five-star safety Jett Washington is intensifying, with USC and Ohio State now officially scheduled to host the standout prospect from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. Washington, the nephew of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, is one of the most highly coveted players in the 2026 recruiting class.

Washington has already taken visits to USC and Alabama, and he is expected to be in Oregon on June 13 for another official visit. He also holds offers from several top programs, including Texas A&M and Ohio State.

Though Washington has yet to make a commitment, he has shared positive feedback about his visits so far. He highlighted USC’s coaching staff and player development, as well as Alabama’s winning culture and track record of preparing athletes for the next level.

As his recruitment progresses, USC and Ohio State are stepping up their efforts to secure his commitment. With his elite talent, athleticism, and high football IQ, Washington is widely seen as a game-changer for any college defense.

All eyes will be on his next steps as he continues evaluating his options, with a commitment decision likely coming later this year.
