Blues prospects Henry Curtis and Nick Nkansa-Dwamena are on trial at QPR and are playing for their U21 team against Sheffield Wednesday today.

Complete-back Nkansa-Dwamena, an 18-year-old who had previously played for West Ham’s youth team, joined Town just before he began his two-year scholarship in the summer of 2022.

Curtis, a 17-year-old central defender, was signed to a professional contract in the summer after being picked by the Blues in January of last year from the Kinetic Academy in South London. READ MOFE

Ma’kel Bogle-Campbell of Fulham was one of four players that made an appearance for QPR’s youth team on Friday.

Along with attacker Blaise Uwandji, 20, of West Ham, Rangers also included left-back Henry Curtis, 20, and right-back Nick Nkansa-Dwamena, 18, of Ipswich Town.

The four players have been given trials with the R’s as they are expected to be released from their contracts at the end of the season. The game was won 3-1 by the hosts Wednesday, with Joseph Ajose scoring the goal for Rangers. Bogle-Campbell, an 18-year-old midfielder, was with Arsenal before joining Fulham, where he signed a scholarship deal in 2022. Nkansa-Dwamena was on West Ham’s books before joining Ipswich in 2022.
